Google reveals the optimal way to economize on smart phone battery
Google launched a conference on developers during the past days, "Android Dev Summit", which revealed a number of developments regarding Android, and one of the most revealed is the way to conserve battery power.

Google has asked developers of various applications on the Android platform to provide their applications with the feature of "Night Mode or Dark Mode," according to Google, it goes beyond the aesthetic side of the applications.
According to Google, the adoption of the dark situation contributes to the economy of battery power and maintain significantly, as evidenced by Google through the statistics published, and called Google users to the need to adopt this feature in the applications available in it.

What is the 18: 9 offer and what is the benefit it offers you in your smartphone?

LG has introduced its new phone LG G6, which came in a new concept in the design of the screen was launched 18: 9, and came another phone in this form is the Samsung phone, which was revealed in the past weeks, the Galaxy S8, but O You see what an 18: 9 offer is and how you can benefit from it.
What is the 18: 9

What is 18: 9?

What is meant by this label is that the width equals twice the length of the screen, for example, the size of the LG G3 is equal to 5.5 inches, that is, if we set the maximum distance of 12.2 x 6.9 cm the result will be 1.77 and the same result that you get if 16 divided by 9.
For this reason most smart phones, laptops and TVs have a 16: 9 aspect ratio. So the question is, what is the purpose of changing this percentage in the new smartphones for 18: 9?

The first reason is marketing!
The second reason is multitasking. 18: 9 allows you to comfortably work with two applications in one screen. With this dimension ratio, you can split the screen into two equal boxes that can be used to watch video in a section and browse the web in the other section, When browsing the web or reading e-books.
The LG G6 and the Galaxy S8 so far are the only smart phones in the market that come in this dimension dimension 18: 9.
The 18: 9 display also positively affects the shape and design of applications, it makes the application interface accommodate more settings. Of course, not all applications are designed to display this aspect ratio, so if you use LG G6 or Samsung and want to use an application that does not support this standard it will appear with black edges on both sides.

How to Unlock Your iOS 10 Device With a Single Click (Like in iOS 9)

In iOS 10, Apple made a small but fundamental change to the way you unlock your phone. If you’re not a fan of the change (and we hardly blame you) it’s easy enough to fix. Let’s switch it back to the way it was in iOS 9.

What Changed (and Why)

When using an iOS 9 device with the Touch ID fingerprint recognition feature, you could simply press the home button on your device and it would wake and unlock the device in one clean swoop. Finger to home button, click, unlocked.

The lock screen itself and the unlocking process both got a big makeover with iOS 10. The most obvious change is the death of the slide-to-unlock feature. On prior versions of iOS–going all the back to the early days (long before finger print recognition)–you swiped left to unlock your phone (and put in a passcode if you used one). Even when Touch ID was introduced, the swipe-to-unlock feature remained.

In iOS 10, however, if you swipe left you don’t unlock the phone. Instead, swiping will pull up the lock screen widget panel. In addition, the Touch ID unlock flow was tweaked slightly so that pressing on the home button still activates the screen and unlocks the device, but it doesn’t return you to where you left off (e.g. the home screen page you were on or the app you were using). Instead the device unlocks and sits on the lock screen. If you want to return to where you were, à la iOS 9, you have to then click one more time.

That sounds entirely pointless, right? Well, in fairness to Apple, there is actually a benefit to their new method. When an iOS device is unlocked, the apps on the device have access to encrypted data. If you use the default iOS 10 Touch ID unlock method, this means that when you swipe right to open the camera, the camera isn’t in tourist mode but has full access to your photo library. It also paves the way for Apple to allow other apps to appear on the lock screen system and access encrypted data.

While that sounds nice and all, we don’t need that feature, and so far this is the most annoying change in iOS 10. With that in mind, let’s change it back.

Change the iOS 10 Touch ID Behavior Back to iOS 9’s

Changing the behavior of the Touch ID unlock is trivial if you know where to look. To change the functionality back to the iOS 9 style you’re familiar with, simply launch the Settings app.

Navigate in the Settings menu to the “General” entry and select it.

Scroll down a ways until you see the entry for “Accessibility”. Select it.

In the Accessibility menu, again, scroll quite a bit until you see the entry for “Home Button” and select it.

In the Home Button menu you’ll find an entry, turned off by default in iOS 10, labeled “Rest Finger to Unlock”. Toggle it on, as seen below.

You can now press the Home button and, with a single press, both awake and unlock your iOS device.

While we can appreciate why Apple made the change (to facilitate access to secure apps from the lock screen), we also appreciate they left a method in to go back to the iOS 9 way of doing things.

How to See Which Merchants Accept Apple Pay

How to See Which Merchants Accept Apple Pay

If you’ve ever run out of the house with your iPhone, but left your wallet or purse behind, you know how annoying it is to turn around and go back to get it. If you use Apple Pay, you don’t have to.

The problem then is, how do you know who accepts Apple Pay? If you’re just out to get a quick bite to eat or some groceries, you don’t want to go from place to place asking them if they accept Apple Pay, so there has to be a better way, and luckily there is.

With a simple search in Apple Maps, you can see exactly who accepts Apple Pay, letting you instantly narrow down your options.

Using your iPhone, open the Maps app and look up the location you want to visit. For example, let’s say we’ve got a hankering for some doughnuts. One nearby option is Dunkin Donuts, which we pull up on our Maps application, then we tap on that location to view its details.

By viewing the location’s details, we can see stuff like its phone number, address, and more importantly, if it accepts Apple Pay. If it does, it will display the logo.

You could go through Maps this way, tapping every location that interests you and see if the logo is there, but perhaps an easier way is to simply search in Apple Maps with the term “Apple Pay”. This then will display various locations throughout your area that accept it.

Searching for Apple Pay locations this way might not be that thorough, however. You could also elect to use a free app called Pay Finders.

When you first open Pay Finders, you might be overwhelmed a bit by all the locations it shows that do accept Apple Pay.

If you tap on any icon on the map, it will tell you what it is and where, but this is akin to searching for a needle in the proverbial haystack.

To make searching easier, you can tap the second icon in the middle on the top menu bar, and then tap the funnel icon to narrow down your choices, where we can search for stuff, such as by category.

In order to use the advanced filtering features, you’ll have
to sign up for a Pay Finders account, which takes a few seconds in the app.

Here we’ve found a grocery store that accept Apple Pay. In addition to showing us where it is, we can then map it, and we can rate our experience using Apple Pay there and make comments, among other things.

You can use Pay Finders to search for businesses directly (using the search feature) or filter them by name, distance, icon, newest, and as we mentioned, category.

Whether you use the Pay Finders app or elect to go the Maps route, at least you know you have options should you find yourself out and about without your wallet. Of course, if you get pulled over without your drivers license on you, your iPhone isn’t going to be able to save you from a ticket, but at least you can console yourself with some coffee and doughnuts afterward.

Why are companies moving production of Android tablet devices stop!

Demand for any of the available hardware high in the markets affect the product for a longer period continued, and this is why one of the main reasons for the direction of the companies in the recent period to stop the production line of Alondorad PCs.

Dell Inc. recently announced the termination of its production line from Alondorad PCs, due to the rise in mobile phone use distinctive large size, which contributed to the decline in the role of the tablet, and stuck some users iPods tablet for a long time, helped to deterioration of the hardware sales of the tablet during the recent period .

Why are companies moving production of Android tablet devices stop!

A spokesman for Dell, said that the tablet market recently going through a decline in sales as a result of saturation of the market, which is suffering from declining consumer demand, so it was the company's decision to halt Venue devices Android tablet line.

Tablet Dell Venue was 87,000, one of the best tablets that got positive reviews, thanks to the excellence fantastic OLED screen and camera technology RealSense, but even with these features are still tablets Alondorad system does not represent a source of attraction for the consumer in the recent period.

While iPad devices differ in one fundamental difference, as the Android tablet applications were not comparable to Apple's rich applications compatible with its organs tablet.

As is also Alondorad on tablets applications is only an extension of the applications of the phone ie applications is a specialized devices Alondorad tablet, while the developers iPad and found better ways to take advantage of the available to them, with pen input feature on your iPad Pro, but at least the games run through Android devices as working through the phone.

Also with large sizes for smartphones, Android devices have become tablet worthless, with a screen 7 or 8 size inches with the same advantages that come in a large-sized smartphones, experience of using the phone or tablet is not much different, as you can choose the screen 5.5 mobile phone inches at a lower price, such as a phone from Huawei Honor 5x versus $ 199.

There is also another reason to write the end of Android tablet PCs, a computer Chromebooks in turning run Chrome OS system to support the Google store applications Alondorad, with the advantages of these devices in the screens works feature tactile, as the Asus Chromebook Flip device was just the beginning, and that HP announced for Chromebook 11 G5 touch-screen feature works with the expectations of most versions in the future.

So at a time when ends the era of tablets, Chromebooks devices starting with screens operating characteristic touch to give the category a new life, as the removable appliance sales grow detachable rapidly from year to year according to the statistics of the first quarter of 2016 while the tablet market falls by 14.7% .

And now with the launch of the majority of Chromebooks devices feature touch with a convertible 2-in-1 design, it is expected that we will see more of this class versions at the end of this year, to be these devices, including the Chromebook Pixel C system more responsive to the needs of running with Chrome OS and store Android applications system.

Also do not indicate expectations that the Chrome PCs will affect other organs such as the Surface Pro 4 consumption, but for the consumer which targets value, as well as students, the Chromebooks in touch with the run Android applications and games feature, it represents a wonderful combination of ease of use and versatility as well, so Android tablet will not be lacking significantly in the coming period.

What's inside a $4 smartphone?

Indian company Ringing Bells is getting ready to start shipping its $4 Freedom 251 smartphone. But how much smartphone can you build for the price of a cup of coffee?

Well, first off, the controversial $4 smartphone isn't really a $4 smartphone. Yes, Ringing Bells is selling it for 251 rupees (a little under $4), but according to the Times of India, the company has struck deals with a number of software firms to place their apps on the phone in order to draw in revenue.

And despite this deal, the company claims that it has to swallow a loss of about 150 rupees(about $2.20) per unit, which it hopes that the Indian government will pick up.

So a $4 smartphone is not a $4. In fact, the spec is awfully similar to the Adcom Ikon 4 (which was the handset that Ringing Bells used as a prototype, after covering the name with Wite-Out).

The Adcom Ikon 4 is priced at around $54. That's still cheap, but a long shot away from the $4.

So, assuming that buyers get their smartphone for the promised $4, what are they actually getting?

Here are the tech specs:
4-inch 960x540 pixel qHD IPS display
1.3 GHz quad-core processor MediaTek CPU with Mali 400 GPU
1GB RAM
8 GB storage (with microSD card slot)
3.2 MP rear camera with LED flash
0.3 MP front camera
1450 mAh Li-Ion battery
Twin-SIM
Android 5.1 Lollipop

The spec is not all that impressive - a handset like the iPhone 5 beats it pretty much across the board - but still, if it ships for a $4 then it's a darn good deal. It's also a testament to how rapidly the technology landscape moves rapidly, and how rapidly component prices fall, given that when the iPhone 5 first shipped in 2012, the display alone cost $44.

Use These Secret Codes to Unlock Hidden Features on Your iPhone

Use These Secret Codes to Unlock Hidden Features on Your iPhone

Since the earliest days of cellular technology, secret codes have been embedded into the software of our mobile devices, and they’re still in place today. Included in these hidden codes for the iPhone is a special diagnostics mode you can use to troubleshoot problems, get a more accurate signal reception measurement, and more.

This diagnostics mode is called Field Test, and you can enter it by opening up your iPhone’s Phone app and calling *3001#12345#*. You’ll be met with a list of technical menus and measurements that are really only of interest if you’re professionally testing phone hardware or network infrastructure.

Of most interest to casual users is the option to show a more accurate reading of signal strength. In Field Test mode, press and hold the Power button until you see the slider as usual, then press and hold the Home button until the home screen shows—note that you now have a numerical reading instead of dots.

Anything between -40 and -80 is very good (the closer the figure is to zero the better). Anything below -110 and you’re on pretty shaky ground, network-wise. To go back to the normal dots, jump back into Field Test mode and then exit it as you usually would with a single press on the Home button.

It’s a useful feature to have if you’re testing mobile signal in your house or you’re out and about and want to know if your next call is going to last without dropping. It’s an old trick that’s been around a fair while but it’s always worth highlighting these hidden options as there will be people not yet aware of them.

There are other hidden codes, but they’re not quite as useful and tend to vary based on your carrier and your country, so they’re not as reliable either.*#06# displays your iPhone’s unique IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) number, for example, while *#33# checks whether voice, SMS, and data are enabled.

There are several such codes for Android devices too, but they tend to be manufacturer-specific, so putting together a current master list is more tricky. Try *#*#4636#*#* to bring up several screens of information on your phone, battery usage and the wifi configuration, or *#*#1472365#*#* to see information about your Google Calendars.

Here's the one thing you must do before selling your Android phone

Here's the one thing you must do before selling your Android phone

You would think when you do a "factory reset" and agree to erase everything on your Android device that all of your data would be wiped out for good. But you'd be wrong.

As many researchers have discovered, data can be recovered with the right tools even after a factory reset has been performed. That's because when you delete something, the file itself isn't actually overwritten — the system just throws away all the info on the file, essentially tossing it in with whatever free space you have. Recoverable data can be a real privacy problem if you ever plan on selling or donate your Android phone.

There are, however, a few ways to ensure your data is really erased forever.

Encrypt your phone

Encrypting your Android device is the strongest way to prevent its data from being recovered. By encrypting your device, you are essentially scrambling all the data and locking it away with a special key. Once encrypted, the data can't be decrypted without entering a passcode.

Most devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow are required (except maybe some low-end devices) by Google to have mandatory encryption for maximum security.

If your device is running Android 5.0 Lollipop or lower (and supports encryption), it's highly recommended you turn on encryption (Settings > Security > Encrypt phone) to scramble its data before doing a factory reset. (The setting location may vary on different devices.)

Essentially, by doing this, you'll be erasing scrambled data which is virtually unrecoverable.

Overwrite it with throwaway data

So now that you've encrypted your data, factory reset it and erased everything, let's go even further and make sure the new destroyed encrypted data is even more jarbled and worthless by overwriting with new junk data.

Go ahead and set up your device again, but this time don't sign into any Google accounts or anything. Once your device is set up as new, go ahead and start recording a video for as long as you can, at the highest resolution. Repeat as much as you need to fill up all the space.

Then do another factory reset.

Repeat

If you're paranoid, you can follow the above tips and perform them several times until you feel confident the data is scrambled enough and overwritten with new throwaway data that even if someone was able to recover the data, they wouldn't get anything useful. But if you want to keep it simple, a single encrypt-and-reset will do the trick for most.

Here's more smartphones selling arrangement in the world during the first half of 2016

The new arrangement your best and strongest and most popular smartphones in the world during the first half of the year 2016. And we all know the first Trinity for manufacturers of smart phones the most sales, and of Apple and Samsung and Huawei. What is striking is the massive presence of the Chinese signs in this order, and where the number of the twelve signs first, there are eight Chinese markings, and according to a report recently issued by the agency IC Insight America.

Here's more smartphones selling arrangement in the world during the first half of 2016

So this study showed that 8 of the list of 12 factories are Chinese, while there are 11 factories of the Asian continent (Apple alone from the American continent), while there are two Korean manufacturers (LG and Samsung). This is without forgetting the presence of a sudden the Indian sign MicroMax.

Huawei permission maintains its prominent and imposed a giant productions recently modeled phone Huawei P9, with notable progress for signs of Oppo (which will be located in Tunisia soon), as well as Xiaomi (advanced strides) and also Vivo (that operate in silence).

And this is still all of the giants Apple and Samsung's market share by 38% through 554 million phone sold in 2015, compared with 531 million phone sold for ten other signs, of which 104 million phone from Huawei. But as of reaching the almost to the end of the first half of 2016, the balance of power has changed the progress of Chinese brands such as Oppo (54%) and Vivo (48%) and the Meizu (29%) through higher sales ratios are respected. On the other hand, recorded a quotation Samsung and Apple slight decline rates (-1%) and (-3%), respectively.

This also noticed the disappearance of big brands such as Sony and Microsoft, as well as HTC in this list (and perhaps the reason is its focus on other technology products).

Do not forget this and the other hand on the resounding coming from India to sign MicroMax in the order of twelve and that a growth rate of 74%!

So what can be seen is that Chinese manufacturers have gobbled new global market through a very important numbers. But the only Hinh remain restricted the marketing of most of these circumstances the labels on China only, (and that includes, by the way, 800 million consumers for mobile phones).

And the question remains, how will act in Western markets when these Chinese companies decide to go out of its borders, and is heading for external marketing all over the world, as it did Huawei and Lenovo?

Dangerous : method was able to penetrate any Facebook account in seconds !!

Penetrate the Facebook of the most queries that people are looking for in the Internet daily, and very hard to find how to penetrate a Facebook account, but this week, enables one of the researchers from the control of any Facebook account, whatever the password used, or protection measures taken, the aid of only a phone number victim of piracy and some skills.

Dangerous : method was able to penetrate any Facebook account in seconds !!

If you believe that your account on Facebook is protected adequacy and no one can break it, then you are wrong, yes completely wrong because there is no way they can do so regardless of how the word used password strength.

Pirates were able to do this by a set of skills and Dvoha to exploit the SS7 network and thus access to any account, all they would need is also the phone number of the victim.

Global communication network SS7 own set of vulnerabilities that allow hackers and pirates, as well as communication agencies to spy on the phone calls and SMS messages, but more than that, they can also penetrate your social networks that the phone number.

Or SS7 Signalling Systeme Number 7 and is sending protocol telephony and transfer information from contacts and messages from one person to another, with the billing signals, and other features.

So how then to use this protocol in the breach? SS7 network trust in text messages without making sure of the source, and thus enables the hacker to exploit the SS7 to convert text messages into their devices.

All you need to do is target phone number and some information about the victim's body to begin the breakout quietly. It is worth mentioning that he had previously and then to penetrate all of the accounts WhatsApp and Talegram the same way.

Now that you interpret you how the hack process explanation Technically, the tiger now to interpret Ttabkie it, do not not not broke through any account, because the gap will have been repaired, especially that she has terribly proliferated in the past two days ..

Method as follows:

A hacker would need to start clicking on the button "Forgot Account" from the main Facebook page "facebook.com", now will be asked to enter your email or phone number connected to their account, the thing that requires the hacker to enter the phone number is valid and genuine private and it has inevitably one, and so on, and previously mentioned manner will convert the message that the activation code to his computer and then access the victim's account.

It did not absorb it well? Well, then see the following video, which explains everything about how to penetrate the Facebook:

Bluetooth 5 revealed : pumps up range and spread to push IoT, ads

Bluetooth 5 revealed : pumps up range and spread to push IoT, ads

Bluetooth is perhaps one of the unsung heroes of the mobile world today. The wireless technology is what makes many of the fancy new devices and integrations today possible, from fitness bands to smartwatches to personal home assistants. Just as the Bluetooth 4 standard introduced the Bluetooth Low Energy profile to facilitate development of those types of devices, the upcoming Bluetooth 5 spec will put a focus on increasing Bluetooth's range, speed, and spread in order to further drive the development of the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as "beacons", which are mostly used for serving location-relevant information, a.k.a. ads.

Wireless connections and communication are sometimes a series of compromises. NFC is relatively fast and doesn't require power but needs to be within an extremely short, almost touching range and can only transfer bits of data at a time. Wi-Fi has greater bandwidth but is quite uncommon among devices outside of smartphones and tablets and has limited broadcasting capability. Bluetooth is the middle ground among these and can be found and embedded in almost anything. For a time, however, it was considered a power hog until Bluetooth LE came around.

Bluetooth 5 will be doing something similar for increasing Bluetooth performance while still keeping that now popular low energy characteristic. In particular, the new spec will focus on three areas: the range that data can travel, the speed at which it travels, and its ability to broadcast messages to myriads of recipients at the same time. These concerns weren't chosen at random, of course, and serve to help push the budding IoT and beacon markets.

Being able to carry messages farther and faster will be of extreme help in houses, where data has to navigate through walls, sometimes outside the house. The faster data transfer also help in speeding up software updates for those smart appliances that might not have Wi-Fi connections of their own.

On the other hand, broadcast messaging capabilities will be essential for beacons that transmit location-relevant information. For better or for worse, those will most likely be used primarily for serving ads. Market analysts predict that more than 371 million such beacons will ship by 2020, making it a rather lucrative market for device makers, establishments, and, of course, advertisers.

The Bluetooth 5 specification is scheduled to be released by late 2016 or early 2017. It will naturally take some time before it gets implemented in commercial devices, but with a membership that is 30,000 strong, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) isn't worried about adoption.
